Williams, a junior quarterback at USC, is coming off a breakout season in which he threw the football for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns. He also led the Trojans to a 10-3 record and reached the Pac-12 Championship Game before falling to Utah.
Williams is listed at +500 to win the Heisman, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. He is trying to join former Ohio State running back Archie Griffin as the only player to win the coveted award twice. Here are the top 10 favorites at DraftKings to win the coveted award as the best college football player in the nation.

Ohio State Buckeyes Heisman Hopefuls
Kyle McCord QB +2200
McCord has heady shoes to fill replacing former Buckeyes QB C.J. Stroud, but if any QB could do such a thing as replace a legend, McCord might be the man for the job. He’s thrown for 601 yards and three TDs over his brief, two-year career and he should excel behind the Buckeyes stout offensive line. Throwing to fellow Heisman candidate Marvin Harrison Jr. certainly can’t hurt his Heisman chances, but the Buckeyes QB may be involved in too many one-sided games to have a legit chance at the award.
Marvin Harrison Jr +2500
Harrison Jr. is one of the most talented receivers in the country, hauling in 77 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 TDs in 2022. More impressive was the fact Harrison didn’t drop a single pass last season. Harrison will likely be a top-five selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, but wideouts rarely win the Heisman and Harrison likely won’t win this season’s award.
TreVeyon Henderson +3000
Henderson was an early season 2022 Heisman favorite, but injuries limited the junior running back from reaching his full potential. Still, Henderson is expected to be healthy, has great speed, and is a hard back to tackle. If he can come close to the 1248 rushing yards from 2021, the young fella from Hopewell Virginia could challenge Williams and the rest of the field.
The 2023 Heisman Trophy race is sure to be exciting. Maybe Williams joins Griffin as a two-time winner and maybe he won’t. In any event, it should be an exciting season for the Buckeyes.
