The new Ohio sportsbook is located in the Arena District, near Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
“Friday will be an exciting day for Blue Jackets fans and for sports fans in Ohio as we officially open the Fanatics Sportsbook in the shadow of Nationwide Arena,” said Blue Jackets Sr. Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Cameron Scholvin.“I’d like to thank RJ and Ryan for joining us today, as well as extend our gratitude to our partners at Fanatics and the many others that worked very hard to make this remarkable facility a reality.”

The Fanatics Sportsbook Columbus is more than 5,000 square feet featuring the following amenities;
- Four betting windows
- 14 self-service betting kiosks, a giant LED video wall.
- Afull-service restaurant.
The Fanatics Columbus sportsbook will offer legal betting markets for all major US and international sports, including professional and college football, basketball, hockey, baseball, tennis, soccer, golf, MMA, and boxing.
The opening of the new Fanatics Ohio retail sportsbook in Columbus is Fantatics’ second in the Buckeye State. Earlier this month, Fanatics announced it would open a retail sportsbook at Progressive Field, the home of the Cleveland Guardians.
Ari Borod, Chief Business Officer of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, was equally excited about the new retail location.
“It [Friday] was a great day to be a Buckeye at the Fanatics Sportsbook Columbus,” said Borod. “Having Columbus sports legends like Ryan and RJ come out and place the first bets shows that we plan to be the premier sports viewing and betting destination in the Arena District when we open our doors to the public on Friday. The Fanatics Sportsbook Columbus will greatly complement our online sportsbook experience for sports fans living and visiting Ohio.”
Fanatics is one of the world’s largest online and brick-and-mortar sports merchandise retailers. The company has been expanding its sports betting business in recent years and is in the process of acquiring the US sports betting interests from Australian bookmaker PointsBet.
