Bulls vs. Cavaliers Best Bets
Donovan Mitchell Under 31.5 points (+100) at DraftKings
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell is the scoring leader for the Cavs. He’s had to do more scoring without Evan Mobley and Darius Garland out with injuries. He’s coming off a 45-burger night against Brooklyn, but before his Thursday night scoring outburst, he failed to clear this scoring prop in any of his previous four games.
The Bulls’ defense against combo guards like Mitchell is pretty good. They allow 24.72 points per night to players similar to Mitchell, and the Cavs guard averages slightly Under this prop number against Central Division foes. Play the Under on Mitchell’s scoring prop tonight at DraftKings Ohio.
Donovan Mitchell Under 6.5 assists (+124) at DraftKings
I think tonight’s matchup will be a low-scoring one, and I don’t expect Mitchell to clear a number he’s failed to reach in three of his last five ballgames. The Cavs guard has always been a willing passer, but he’s dropped 7+ dimes in just six of his 28 games this season, and I don’t see him doing this tonight against Chicago.
The Bulls’ defense has allowed the sixth-lowest field-goal percentage, and the Cavs are shooting just 48% with Garland out of the lineup. Cleveland won’t make enough shots, and guards Zach LaVine and Alex Curoso will hound Mitchell for most of the night. Play the Under 6.5 on this assist prop.
Alex Caruso Over 1.5 steals (+155) at bet365
Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso does many things well, but he gets swipes best. He has a tasty matchup tonight against a Cavaliers offense, committing the 15th-most turnovers per game since point guard Darius Garland suffered a broken jaw seven games ago.
Caruso ranks 22nd in the NBA in steals and has cleared this prop number in three of his last five matchups. With the return of Zach LaVine to the lineup, Caruso has been able to focus more on defense, and he’s got a tasty matchup with the Cavs’ shaky backcourt tonight. Grab the +155 on this prop at bet365 Ohio.
